What do lessons look like? We glorify your strengths to improve your confidence, take note of your weaknesses, help you improve by drowning information in activities that you will enjoy: maybe translating a song, reading the first chapter of a book you love, or turning a vocabulary check into a timed challenge.
Things start making sense when you memorise rules and examples. Learning a different language, especially when it comes from a different family is an adventure and the past few years have made it clear I am a good companion.
If you’ve been meaning to become a bilingual monarch, please answer these questions in an email. My students have all ages, nationalities, backgrounds, and goals, and above all are motivated. We will be comparing schedules, deciding on a day and time for our first session (a dynamic quiz) and figuring out details.
Full name, address (street, zip code, city, country - for billing purposes), email, age, time zone; current level(s) (A1-C2), reasons for learning/goals, desired schedule (ex: weekly 90 mn, bimonthly 2h).
Known weaknesses or issues (anything I should know: learning disability, unstable schedule); availability (Thu-Sunday, 9-7 Paris time; UTC+2/+1). I can open my calendar for a special request (such as test prep).
Hobbies, passions, favourite movies/shows/books, anything that would make the lessons more enjoyable; preferred rates: €25 for the students and unemployed or €40 per hour (open for discussion if your currency doesn't allow it).
